The Greater Bristol community where awesome women unite.
Founded in 2023 in response to the NatWest Rose Report, Electra is a Bristol-based community for women in business - entrepreneurs, founders, intrapreneurs, and the people building the ecosystem around them.
Electra exists to:
Connect with peers over great food and genuine conversation.
Celebrate the brilliant female business community in the South West.
Overcome the challenges and opportunities we're facing as we grow, scale, and exit our businesses.
Already, this community has helped women secure new roles, find board members, close investments, land new clients, and aim higher. It's a space where things actually happen.
The community
Electra is designed specifically for female entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (entrepreneurial women in a larger business environment). All our events build on three principles: no pitching, two feet (move when you want), and no more than two people from a single organisation.

An intimate dinner to bring the female founder community together to connect, overcome challenges and celebrate successes.
We're organising five dinners in 2026/27, which are designed to create space for female founders to relax, connect, and overcome challenges through conversation and sharing of experiences.

Twice a year, we bring the whole community of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs together to connect, overcome challenges, and celebrate successes.
These events usually include light facilitation rather than a keynote or panel discussion.

From time to time, we run special events designed to help solve systemic challenges that impact women-led businesses.
Lately, these have included a film showing (Show Her The Money) and a breakfast to help empower and enable female angel investors.
